Lewis Hamilton's former teammate
Jenson Button believes that the
Mercedes driver could win as many as TEN world titles if he stays at Mercedes and resists a move to rivals
Ferrari.
Hamilton has been the dominant force in
Formula 1 since he moved to Mercedes, winning four of the last five world titles and he looks in pole position for another this year, putting himself just one behind the great Michael Schumacher.
"Lewis could end up with 10 world championships if he stays at Mercedes, but if he goes to Ferrari it might just be that - the end of his career," said Button.
"I am sure every driver wants to race for Ferrari, but no driver in their right mind would move from a winning team to a team which is not competitive.
"It is not like he is not getting paid well. He definitely doesn't need to worry about that."
