Pierre Gasly may not have enjoyed the best of starts to his life at Red Bull Racing - but the Frenchman is taking nothing for granted, as he explains the "unexplainable feeling" of driving a Formula 1 car.
Gasly joined Red Bull at the start of the season, after impressing at junior team Toro Rosso. His P5 finish in Monaco was his personal best for Red Bull and he has shown recent signs of improvement in the RB15.
The Frenchman has been explaining to Mobil 1 The Grid the thrill of driving a Formula 1 car, saying that the feeling is "almost impossible" to describe.
"It's almost impossible to explain how much pleasure you get from driving a Formula 1 car," Gasly revealed. "There are really few people in the world who are lucky enough to drive these cars and for people who don't drive them, it is difficult to understand the feeling.
"If you describe the adrenaline, speed and the G-force, you get it is just impossible to understand until they jump in the car, it's so so fast."
