Lewis Hamilton sees Mercedes going in too good a direction in terms of the car. The seven-time world champion is still not driving around in the car with a super happy feeling, he reports. The Englishman, who currently clinches fourth place in the world championship, said the car is still quite wonky.

"As a driver, you always want more downforce, more power, or less drag, quite the same in sort of steps of power. It's quite an unpredictable car. I'm just going to keep my head down and try to do the best job I can at the weekend," the Briton told Sky Sports.

It was announced the other day that Mercedes will soon come out with new updates. Hamilton has expressed great satisfaction with these upgrades to the car. He therefore also praises the team immensely. "I think the team has such a great mindset right now. There is a great energy within the team," said the 38-year-old Mercedes driver.

On this weekend's Coronation

With having the title "Sir", Hamilton was asked whether he has been invited to the British Coronation in London. "I have no idea, I’ve not seen my mail! I’ve not seen my mail in years. I don’t know, I kinda need (it), if I did (get an invite), if I didn’t, it’s ok," the British driver commented.

He added that he will certainly keep an eye on it. "(It's) Amazing (that people can watch Qualifying on Saturday after the Coronation ceremony). I will have live on my phone, like mid engineering.
