Ferrari beware, says Hamilton: 'World makes a crisis out of everything at Ferrari'

Lewis Hamilton has spoken about the pressure Ferrari's under, and has once again expressed his confidence in the Scuderia achieving its goal after inconsistent start to F1 2025 season.

'World creates non-existent F1 crises for Ferrari'

With not yet a single podium finish for the team that finished P2 in the Constructors' in 2024, it's hardly a dream start to the F1 2025 season for Ferrari. But is the team in crisis or is the world creating one? "Yes," is Hamilton's answer referring to the second part of the question put to him at the Paddock in Jeddah.

Although, it does not come as a shock for the 7-time world champion, after all, Ferrari are a legendary brand name in F1. "On one side it's to be expected, it's the greatest team in Formula 1 history. And it's that special, of course there's more clips, there's more stories that are written about it, and people have opinions. And it's not always been smooth sailing."

Hamilton asks for patience as Ferrari find their way in the 2025 F1 season

On the Tifosi, the Italian press and the world's expectations for Ferrari to be immediatly successful, Hamilton asks for one thing: patience.

"So I think just from my perspective, you can't work with a team and change things overnight. There are changes that are short term that we will do together. [We will] keep all the great greatness and keep building the areas that we could be stronger in, and some of those could be short term and some of them are longer term."

However, there are some things, according to the 7-time world champion, that should remain as they are and others, more fragile, that need to be protected.

"There's so many great things within a team. We want to harness the energy and the passion that's within the team. And we also have to like protect the team as well because it is the spotlights want more on this team than any other team. And everyone in this team really, their heart's so in it. Like they were riding the roller coaster ride up and down together."

But will that ride reach the desired destination? Hamilton is unequivocal about it. "I have no doubts that we will get to where we plan to be. It's just gonna take time."
