Red Bull team principal Christian Horner is confident that Max Verstappen will have a good weekend in Canada, as the Dutchman secured P1 in FP1 in Canada.
Verstappen needed a good result there, and he went out and got it. Horner is happy with how things went.
"It all went very well and the drivers are happy with the balance of the car," he told Sky Sports F1.
"We can still learn a lot from our new engine so we'll see where we stand in qualifying."
When responding to Verstappen's lashing out in the press conference yesterday, Horner had sympathy for his young driver.
"It's annoying to answer the same question fifty times.
"I'm confident he'll do well this weekend."
Let's first see whether Verstappen can keep his momentum going in FP2 (and whether he can keep his car on the track!). I don't think that there's anyone who could use a win more than him right now.
