Nico Hulkenberg finished in a see disappointed 17th at the
Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The German, who has already scored six points this season, goes into the
Miami Grand Prix race week with confidence. He made that clear in a meeting with the press, attended by
GPblog.
"To be honest, I look forward to Miami. I did the hot laps there last year and I really liked the kind of layout and the track, good flow to it, good rhythm, so look forward to explore it. I think we will be much more competitive, or back to our normal competitiveness, let's say from Melbourne and Jeddah, back to high downforce. So I'm optimistic and looking forward to it," said the Haas driver.
The US
Formula 1 team will naturally be keen on a great result in front of its own crowd. Hulkenberg is not impressed by that and remains stoic.
"It's always important to get results, if it's on home turf or not it doesn't really matter," he said.
