Robert Kubica believes the lack of spare parts for Williams could hamper its weekend in Bahrain, saying it's "complicating our life".
Williams are still catching up with the rest of the Formula 1 grid following its late arrival to Barcelona for the pre-season testing. The Williams team had a proverbial nightmare, with its FW42 not being ready in time for the before-season tests in Spain.
In the season-opener in Australia two weeks ago - Kubica damaged the floor in his FW42 in FP1 on Friday, but due to a lack of spare parts for the Grove-based side, they were unable to replace the floor.
"I think realistically speaking we are facing not an easy weekend again," Kubica, who ended his eight-year absence from F1 in Melbourne, said to Motorsport.com
"Knowing the difficulties we had in Australia, it is true that Bahrain is a different configuration and a different specification, but still it is not that from one week to another there will be miracles.
"It is (also) not an easy situation also from a drivers' point-of-view because we will be limited with spare parts and everything. Looking at what happened to me on the Friday in Australia in FP1, that by going on top of one kerb I get a damaged floor and we didn't have bits to replace it, it affected probably the whole weekend."
