A stream of a sim race with Max Verstappen is often entertaining not only because of the good racing work exhibited by the F1 driver. The three-time F1 champion also regularly gives his viewers a glimpse into his life, as shown in the video.
The short video shows Verstappen preparing for a virtual simulator race. After an excited football cry, the Dutchman explains what he has put on for the race. Clearly, it is a shirt from the Dutch national football team. What is not immediately apparent is that it is Virgil van Dijk's shirt.
The 32-year-old captain of the Dutch national team gave the match shirt as a gift to Verstappen. Verstappen says: "I got this shirt from Virgil a few days ago. He wore it during the match against Greece, in which he scored the penalty. In my opinion, quite nice."
