Mercedes team principal
Toto Wolff has admitted that the Silver Arrows haven't made the jump that they were expecting on the hypersoft compound, as the team thought they had made more progress on the pink compound.
It took Mercedes two and a half practice sessions to bust out the hyper softs, but they still couldn't get past the Ferrari's and Max Verstappen.
"It's going to be an interesting qualifying," Wolff told Sky Sports F1.
"There is some work to do, we didn't make the jump on the hypersofts that we were expecting.
"The pace is there but equally Verstappen and Ferrari have the pace as well.
"We don't take anything for granted."
It's going to be an interesting qualifying indeed, as the top four were only separated by 0.107 seconds in FP3. Who will come out when it really matters, though?
