On this day in 2007, Lewis Hamilton won his first F1 race in his 6th Grand Prix.
"I've been ready for this for quite some time, ready for the win - it was just a matter of where and when," he said.
"I have to dedicate this win to my dad - without him this wouldn't have been possible. The last few laps were just a case of counting them down."
The race was littered with incidents, with the safety car out on track four times.
Hamilton's win put him 8 points clear of teammate Fernando Alonso in the drivers championship.
