Romain Grosjean and his Haas teammate Kevin Magnussen have had an amazing start to the season, as they start tomorrow from fifth and sixth respectively, which confirms the pace we saw in pre-season from the American team.
After the qualifying was done, Grosjean talked to the media-scrum about his team's performance and the big improvements in pace compared to last year.
"It went pretty well today," the Frenchman said.
"This is sort of a confirmation of what we saw during the pre-season."
"We're happy with the car, and now we can push as hard as we can to get results."
Both Haas cars will be starting on the third row of the grid tomorrow, only allowing four of the six cars from the 'Big Three' in front of them.
"Kevin's qualifying went well too," Grosjean continued, "so it's nice we can both start in such an advanced position, we don't have anything to complain about."
"Our goal will be to score points tomorrow, and in the best case scenario, we'll maintain our starting positions."
