Red Bull have paid tribute to the travelling fans that supported Max Verstappen to his race win in Austria yesterday. The thousands of Dutch fans wore orange, cheered and set of flares as they witnessed their driver take the race victory.
It's some 700 miles from the Netherlands, but that didn't put the orange army off from making the journey. And wow was it worth it for them.
Last season, Max Verstappen didn't even reach their stand as he crashed out on the opening corner of the 2017 Austrian Grand Prix. The fans would have been worried about a possible repeat after seeing him retire from the opening practice session, but on Sunday the 20-year-old didn't disappoint.
The Red Bull team took to Twitter to thank the fans for their support through the duration of the weekend.
On the video below, you can hear just how loud the fans were shouting and cheering their boy home. You can't argue with their passion for the sport. Surely a Dutch Grand Prix will follow?
