Former world champion
Nico Rosberg has said that Red Bull's patience with
Max Verstappen is running out, as the Dutchman's mistakes keep costing the team big points
Talking to Motorsport.com, the 2016 world champion saw signs in the behaviour of the Bulls suggesting that their patience is wearing thin with their young star.
"We've heard it before," he said, referring to Red Bull team principal Christian Horner's comments, in which he said that Max has to change his behaviour on the track.
"It's the sixth time that we've heard it this year.
"Their patience is running low, that much is clear.
"It's costing Max too much and if he ever wants to win a title, he really has to start learning now."
When discussing Verstappen's race, Rosberg was more positive, as Verstappen behaved well.
"He made some good overtakes and it was nice to watch.
"He came forwards but got stuck behind Nico Hulkenberg because he was driving on fresh tyres too.
"It was done after that, he couldn't do any more."
