The annoying thing about watching
Formula 1 on TV is that it is sometimes difficult to tell all the drivers apart. Sure, we have the car liveries. But aside from that, it's sometimes hard to see at a glance exactly who is in the picture during a crash, for example. Luckily,
Formula 1 on
X have listed the helmets for most of the drivers.
Aston Martin
Fernando Alonso and
Lance Stroll are easy to separate this year. Where Stroll drives around with an all-green helmet, Alonso has a yellow with a blue top.
Unsurprisingly, both helmets are mainly red. Sainz can be recognised by the black top, while Leclerc has the flag of home country Monaco.
Lando Norris is driving around with his Quadrant colours this year, so he cannot be missed. Piastri's helmet is easily distinguishable from this, of course.
Red Bull
The men from Red Bull are somewhat difficult to distinguish, as they have the same livery. Verstappen can be recognised by the Dutch lion on top. The top of Perez's helmet is mainly yellow.
American
Logan Sargeant can be recognised from the stars. The driver puts on a patriotic helmet for his second
F1 season. Albon goes for a dark blue and salmon pink helmet, although it's unlikely to be his only helmet of the season.
VCARB's two drivers go into the season with two completely different helmets. Daniel Riccardo is going for a metallic look.
