The FIA put a strict focus on track limits during the third and final practice session of the
German Grand Prix weekend. With numerous lap times deleted as a result of running off the track, the stewards and the FIA have put their marker down for qualifying.
Lewis Hamilton's fastest lap of the session, which at the time was only good enough to lift him up to P4, was deleted amongst many others. The 2016
Formula 1 world champion
Nico Rosberg believes the FIA should relax the rules a little.
“Of course it's not fun with the track limits, I think you should just let them go in the last corner. It is difficult to estimate where you will end up when you enter the corner. I hoped they would understand at FIA," Rosberg explained to Sky Sports.
