Max Verstappen, who made his first laps of the Formula 1 weekend during the second free practice for the Bahrain Grand Prix, still did not have an optimal feeling in his Red Bull Racing car.

"The ride height is not good. The car is bouncing quite a bit", the four-time world champion let it be known to his race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase. Not long after, he boxed momentarily before taking to the track shortly after.

Lando Norris also informed his team of several issues as he required a helmet swap, a HANS device swap and his headrest to be cleaned.

Fernando Alonso's issues, however, were more profund. The Aston Martin driver asked his team to check his steering wheel, after pulling it whilst on track. The Silverstone-based team then confirmed that there was an issue with the Spaniard's steering wheel and that certain parts were going to be replaced.
