Ever since the season started, Pirelli have been trying to find a way to give teams multiple strategies. With the track temperature rising, tyres are expected to blister strongly. Auto Motor und Sport are expecting Pirelli to succeed.
Track temperatures are already up to 56 degrees. When the cars take to the track, it's expected to rise a little bit more. Practice sessions were considerably hot and tyre blistering was a problem.
The ultra softs will wear really quickly. Mercedes had trouble with this tyre and those using this tyre may need to pit early.
The hot conditions will benefit the Ferrari car. If Red Bull were near to Mercedes then they could have been facing attacks from all directions. We can't forget that Mercedes are only on pole because of the rain. If they can keep Ferrari behind them after the opening pit stop, they might have a chance of holding on.
