- Norris is still fixed at McLaren until 2025, so he would have to be bought out to take an early seat in Red Bull Racing's car. Marko previously mentioned the escape clause there might be in Leclerc's contract.
Earlier, there were rumours of driver changes at Red Bull Racing due to
Sergio Perez not quite performing as he should. The Mexican would then be replaced by
Daniel Ricciardo next season, but that now remains to be seen after the Australian took over
Nyck de Vries ' seat at AlphaTauri.
