Well, it's easy to say that now. They wanted to win, but there was no way for them to win on regular pace. So they had to gamble. Didn't pay off, they even lost points. Had it worked out, it would have been a briliant, but with ifs, they would have been WC many more times :)17-03-2025 09:27

Daniel Ricciardo was saying the same thing. Never happened, and he now has accepted that it will never happen. Perez (father or son) should accept it as well, and move on.10-03-2025 17:21

Why do you presume that people support the non-white driver because it's cool? Can't they support him because he is a great driver? Can't they support him because he has 7 WC? Can't they support them because of his personality ? Can't they support him because of his style? Because of his nationality? So many reasons to support him, and his skin colour is probably the least relevant of all. And to your surprise, I do agree that the same crowd will be attending races. I still don't consider them as real fans.19-02-2025 11:41

Yep, so nothing to do with woke :) The exact same thing exists on the other way, with TeamMax, who support him just because he is Max, and has nothing to do with racing :) But if you are a real F1 fan, you just support your favorite driver, and respect the others. Their win is made great by the other drivers strength.19-02-2025 10:01

I don't see how you are able to connect woke to the boos. There's not even a remote connection. But I agree that those were not fans. Just cheer whoever you support, and say nothing when there's someone you don't support.19-02-2025 00:11

They probably want to test how the car behaves when damaged. That might come very useful during the season :D17-02-2025 14:33

It was a long time ago. Although it's still the same team name, there's probably not many team members from his time still at the team. So it's natural that they don't reach out, they basically don't know him much. That doesn't take away anything from Todt and and their achievements03-02-2025 16:13

Clearly Kimi: he is rookie in a top team, with no prior experience in F1. Liam comes close second in this poll, but he did a few races with RB last year, so we've seen him.30-01-2025 09:40

So what change did they make? They won't use the initials anymore? That must have been a difficult name to find. Hope the marketing company that came up with that didn't charge them too much. In France they are called Racing Bulls, and they will continue to be called like that for sure.08-12-2024 11:45

I did like him as well. Doesn't make him a great driver. But he was good, and he was spicing things up a little, making it interesting. During times when Ferrari and MSC would crush everyone, a little spice was welcome :)31-10-2024 16:22
