The Las Vegas Grand Prix is one big show, as was evident again during the traditional drivers' parade. Several drivers seemed a little uncomfortable with the grand introductions done by UFC announcer Bruce Buffer. However, the most uncomfortable moment occurred after Sergio Perez was called over: the Red Bull Racing driver thought the man wanted to ask him questions and looked lost before being escorted to his car.

One person who loved the whole ceremony was Daniel Ricciardo. "I love UFC, so this is awesome," said the AlphaTauri driver with a broad grin on his face. Charles Leclerc, meanwhile, is hoping to go for victory: "It's going to be all about time management today and we did a good job on that. We've done our homework and I feel ready for today, so I just can't wait to be racing and do everything to win."

Max Verstappen headed straight for his car after his introduction and did not stay for an interview. The Dutchman is clearly not a fan of the Las Vegas GP and everything around it, as was evident from his answer on Thursday when the German branch of Sky Sports asked him about his favourite part of the weekend so far: "My hotel room."
