A victory by Pierre Gasly at the Italian Grand Prix caused huge excitement for everyone at AlphaTauri. At least, that is what you would expect, because with Daniil Kvyat there were no congratulations for his team.
Kvyat does not congratulate the team
In 2008 Toro Rosso won their first race at Monza, and they have now recorded their second F1 win on the same track under the name of AlphaTauri. After Sebastian Vettel, Pierre Gasly also marks up a win. A big party for the team, but Kvyat did not share in that joy.
The Russian's onboard radio is surprising. When Kvyat's engineer tells him that Gasly won the race and you hear cheering mechanics in the background, Kvyat doesn't let anything be heard. Congratulations on his team would have been in order, wouldn't they?
Of course he's disappointed, ordinarily a couple of points would be heartening. He did stop and give Gasly a pat on the shoulder and a nod, in parc ferme' ! Gasly was a bit preoccupied, with the crew at the moment, and scarcely reacted. It may be Kvyat thinks his F1 RBR life has hit its ceiling.
He is getting the bad Strategy calls from the team Since Germany 2019. And Gasly was holding him up in the race while ocon was getting away. If Gasly let him by Kvyat would have been pitted first and won. So i understand his Anger.
I can't understand why Kvyat was promoted to RB and Jean Eric Vergne was thrown out in such a disgraceful way. Kvyat might have been promising years ago, but now he proves again and again he's not fit for F1. And given Tsunoda's results in F2 this year, it's about time for Kvyat to try and justify his presence in the team. Right now he's just pootling around 11th place each race.
Sad little bitter man. Give your team mate a congratulations v childish behaviour.
Gasly was holding him up many laps. If he let Kvyat by Kvyat would have won the Race. So i understand his Anger.
So basically you are saying gasly and kyvat were racing don't forget after all this is a GP that's kinda the whole idea even among 'team members' they will absolutely hold each other up while trying to gain the best position possible that's a huge part of racing lol
Its a sad grief-stricken down in the mouth Russian..........
