Lewis Hamilton will face a grid penalty this weekend. The Briton will start from the back of the grid in the final race weekend of the triple-header as he will use his fourth engine at the Italian Grand Prix.
Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen opted to re-power the car earlier in Belgium, with the Dutchman still taking victory. This weekend Mercedes will make the choice to do the same.
It is a logical decision for the German formation, because the Monza circuit is not exactly in favour of Mercedes. The fast straights and corners seem to give Red Bull Racing the edge, while Ferrari is also hoping for a good result.
Hamilton does not appear to be the only driver to receive a penalty this weekend. Sergio Perez and his team are also reportedly considering changing engines in Italy. However, it remains to be seen whether this will actually happen.
