After the first two free practice sessions at the Suzuka Circuit, many drivers talked about the difficulties caused by the wind. Will that continue during the rest of the weekend?

The Saturday in Japan begins with a sunny morning, the FIA weather forecast reports. There is no rain expected, and the temperature will be 14 degrees celsius.

The track temperature will be between 33-36 degrees celsius during today's first session. While in general, there will be winds of 5-15 kph, gusts of 10-20 kph are expected for FP3. Gusts will pick up even further towards the end of the first 60 minutes that are scheduled for today.

For qualifying, that is set to begin at 3pm local time, The temperature will be 15 degrees celsius, and the track temperature will be similar as well to FP3, 33-37 degrees celsius.

Once again, winds of 5-15 kph are predicted, however, wind gusts can be now between 15-25 kph during from Q1 to Q3, keeping the drivers on their toes.

Additionally, when teams are finalising their setups for qualifying, they already have to think about a rainy Sunday as well.

It will be 16 degrees celsius, with the track temperatures dropping to 24-28 degrees. Wind gusts will also be similar to qualifying. Winds of 5-15 kph are predicted, with gusts of 15-25 kph.
