Charles Leclerc can look back on a successful Friday. Ferrari's young Monegasque finished third in FP1, and tenth in FP2.
He himself does not know why he was suddenly a lot faster. Maybe it is because of the new colour of the car? Or the fact that this will be the 1000th Grand Prix for Ferrari? "Today was a positive day, but on the other hand we have to understand why. To be honest, it was a surprise for everyone. I think the following: the film day earlier this season helped us to get into the rhythm of the track," he told Motorsport.com.
Old-school circuit
He continued: "Mugello is a new job. So maybe that helped us a little. But in FP2 we were closer to where we thought we were. But everyone is close together." Leclerc praised Mugello, as an 'old-school' circuit according to him. "There's no room for error, but I think all drivers like that."
Faster in FP1 because of available data to Ferrari (only), slower in FP2 compared with others (who are collecting data and refining setup), the gap risk to widen more in FP3, very hard to place both cars in Q3, a success to have one. A bit more chance along the race, knowing better the track and possible tyres degradation. Crap car, washed up engine, good drivers, awful managment, disappeared team principal.
No updates as well except livery..Mclaren too tested differnt nose..Atleast these ppl can test some 2021 stuffs if they have abandoned this year's project. Dont know clown's strategy as well..

You let the cat out the bag last week that your spec "B" car will be out this week. I commented on it and have not forgotten. I know why you are faster and but I am disappointed you are only going to get into Q2.
Maybe it's because they knew that they were going to Mugello before anybody else and completed the filming day AKA full-on test to get ready. Try to act like you know, because we know you know, okay?
eh? Are you saying that Ferrari's lack of pace is just a facade? To distract from the fact that the FIA couldn't actually find out if Ferrari were cheating or not?
Maybe becaus of the 1000th race, Ferrari have put the 2019 unit back in place while praying that the FIA will not notice it ;-)
Sounds more like it... he knows exactly n Seb is in dark together with his legit car. It has already fallen apart...
