Rosberg gives Vasseur advice: 'Look what Aston Martin did at Red Bull'

Ferrari is currently P4 in the constructors' championship. The gap to Aston Martin and Mercedes is not huge, but it is not where the Scuderia should be. Former F1 driver Nico Rosberg advises team boss Frederic Vasseur.

Red Bull Racing team advisor Dr Helmut Marko was annoyed by the lack of opposition from Ferrari, among others. The Austrian felt the team had actually regressed compared to 2022. In the standings, the same seems to be true. Aston Martin is seventeen points ahead of Vasseur's team. That is not where Ferrari wants to be and not what the team promised star driver Charles Leclerc.

Nico Rosberg advises Vasseur at Sky F1: "I think what Fred Vasseur needs to do now is poach some talent from the other best teams. Some very key talent. I think that he needs to get done to really move Ferrari forward. I would like to see Fred now try and go for those talents, like Aston Martin did poaching the chief aerodynamicist there from Red Bull and that’s enabled them to make a huge jump. And it’s time for Ferrari to try and do something similar."
