Ralf Schumacher saw many positive aspects during the
Imola Grand Prix, but he was clearly less satisfied about
Mick Schumacher. The driver did not manage to beat his direct competitors and finished in 17th position.
After more than one season, the Haas driver has still not managed to score any points for his team. While he had a lesser car last season, this race year luck is still not on his side. According to Schumacher, Haas need to improve, but there is also a part to the driver himself.
"That shouldn't happen," he points out in his column on
Sky Sports Deutschland of the mistakes Schumacher made in
Imola.
"He just has to go through the whole weekend. It's important to gain experience and do better. After many good things, you can also have a bad weekend." Schumacher criticizes Ferrari
Earlier this week Schumacher was critical of Ferrari's performance in Imola. The Italian racing team seemed to be the favourite for victory, but failed to beat
Red Bull Racing. In doing so, Schumacher stated that
Charles Leclerc and
Carlos Sainz did not look good.
