Max Verstappen has high hopes for his first real home race at
Zandvoort. The Dutchman is one of the reasons that
Formula 1 is returning to the track after 30 years, and the
Red Bull Racing team is receiving a lot of attention. In the press conference prior to the race weekend, Verstappen looks ahead to the coming days.
"I
t's my first Dutch Grand Prix, not my first home race," said the Dutchman at the press conference, where
Formule1.nl were present. Prior to the press conference Verstappen walked a lap around the circuit for reconnaissance, so he can already point out the interesting corners.
"
Everyone is interested in the banked corners, that adds something. Turn three gives you a lot of different possible racing lines, it's more old-school". From Friday we will see which lines will be fastest at
Zandvoort, but it is clear that there will be a lot of testing to see which lines gain the most time.
