Lando Norris surprisingly took pole for the sprint race in Shanghai. The McLaren struggled in laps one and two but put together a good final lap. Lewis Hamilton will start alongside Norris on the front row on Saturday. Fernando Alonso is number three, ahead of Max Verstappen.
