The Austrian Grand Prix is the ninth weekend of Formula 1 in 2021. Saturday qualifying is scheduled for the premier class of motorsport on the Red Bull Ring circuit. Can Max Verstappen, just like last week, grab the pole position again? The battle for the front row of the grid will again be between
Red Bull Racing and Mercedes. On Saturday during the Styrian GP weekend, the difference was two tenths in favour of
Max Verstappen. The question is whether Mercedes have been able to close that gap in a week's time.
Verstappen himself thinks that it will be more exciting, but Hamilton is not so convinced. The British driver of Mercedes expects that the difference between the RB16B and W12 will still be around two tenths.
When is the Austrian GP qualifying?
Qualifying for the
Austrian Grand Prix starts at 14:00 on Saturday afternoon. Earlier in the day, the third free practice session is also scheduled. The last practice session will start at 11:00 and will last for one hour, just like qualifying.
