Norris admits Quali was "not the best" from himself
Lando Norris managed to guide his Mclaren into P6 on the grid for Sunday's British Grand Prix. The Brit is happy with even though he's aware that it was not the best of performances he has done so far in his career.
Norris is satisfied but lap was not perfect.
"Very satisfied. To be ahead of one Mercedes is satisfying and to not be far off Hamilton." Norris revealed to Sky Sports "I think he improved on the final lap and I made a couple of mistakes. Not the best of jobs from me." as the Brit speaks candidly to the punditry team, even admitting to suffering from "A lot of porpoising this weekend."
Looking towards Sunday
"I am expecting George to be coming past quite quickly. Our race is with Fernando and Zhou, and maybe not so much the Williams. I think it will be a good one with Fernando. I will probably wave George through" Norris continued, who then touched on upgrades "We have been in a decent place this weekend which is a little bit surprising because I think we are the only team not to bring upgrades and a lot of people have brought big things, so to be in that position is good for us."
