Compared to the car presentations of the Formula 1 cars, a lot has changed given the FIA documents. The RB20 of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez is quite different from the way it was presented a few weeks ago. The FIA's document, therefore, lists seven geometric changes to the car. An overview of all updates from all 10 constructors in the top class of motorsport.

Red Bull Racing

Red Bull Racing's RB20 has received quite a few changes from the car unveiled at the Milton Keynes factory. Among other things, the much-discussed entrance to the side pod has been modified, as shown in the drawing below. Also, for example, the floor is slightly different from what it was before, so the car rides better in corners.

Mercedes

Team boss Toto Wolff's team has made adjustments to the front wing and also the entrance to the sidepods, among other things. The FIA document reveals that this entrance is more triangular compared to the W15 that the team first brought out. The rear wing of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell's car has also been modified, as shown in the drawing. These improvements should be good for the efficiency of the wing.

Ferrari

Ferrari did not bring many updates to Bahrain. Only three things about the SF-24 have been tweaked by the Italian Scuderia. Not only Red Bull and Mercedes are modifying the entrance to the sidepod, but also Ferrari. According to the team, this update improves the car's aerodynamics.

McLaren

McLaren, compared to Red Bull and Mercedes, has also not brought a whole lot of updates to the first Grand Prix of the season. If you look at the picture, you will see that the entire bodywork is circled. This is because the orange-coloured team has changed the shape of the bodywork. This should benefit the aerodynamics of the car.

Aston Martin

Aston Martin made many changes to the car. No less than nine things have changed from the car presentation. Besides the fact that almost the entire front wing has been modified, the entrance to the sidepods has been made larger. The nose of the car has been made shorter than the AMR23 was.

Visa Cash App RB

Many eyes will be on the Visa Cash App RB team in the first few weeks. VCARB drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda look set to fight it out together for a place alongside Verstappen next year. In particular, the car of Red Bull's subsidiary team has undergone modifications to the front wing. With these modifications, the team hopes the load will be a bit more localised rather than over a larger part of the car.

Stake F1

Stake's car will not necessarily stand out because of the technical changes, yet mainly because of the car's poison green colour. Nevertheless, the team of Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou has created a whole new floor to the car. This decision was made in order to generate more downforce this way.

Alpine

It remains to be seen how well Alpine will perform in the Middle East. Indeed, the French team's car seems to be anything but optimal. The FIA's picture is also very different compared to the other nine teams. In particular, major modifications have been made to the front wing and the side of the floor.

Williams

The team that has come up with the most modifications after the car presentation is Williams. As many as 14 points are different from how the FW46 first saw the light of day. The quantity does not necessarily say much about the quality of the modifications, of course, but it is a sign that the team may have been dissatisfied.

Haas

One team that has also made a lot of adjustments is Haas. Compared to the design brought out, 11 adjustments have already been made for the weekend in Bahrain. Especially notable here is the modification of the front wing. This modification was done in order to get a better suspension, it is explained.
