Franco Colapinto, like other
Formula 1 drivers, is enjoying his autumn break away from
Formula 1. Today, the Argentinian, who has driven in just three Grand Prix, was unable to enjoy a day off as he had to
Williams' Grove base for media training. He joked about it via a story on Instagram towards his fans.
The young driver replaced
Logan Sargeant after the
Dutch Grand Prix. The
Williams Academy driver started his first race in Monza at the
Italian Grand Prix. It all happened fast for Colapinto, who just yesterday was media trained by his new team.
Colapinto recently talked about how he had deleted X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok from his phone because it was causing distractions. He posted a story on Friday saying 'media training day' with a sad emoji. Would Colapinto - who has always been very open so far - now suddenly change in the media?
On Instagram on Friday, he jokingly said in response, "They are crazy. How are you supposed to believe that bit about media training? I only drive cars." The story on Instagram was a joke towards his fans, belittling the situation.
In a fortnight, the
United States Grand Prix will take place at the Circuit of the Americas. We will see whether or not Colapinto learned something from this week's media training soon!
