Final starting grid for the F1 sprint race in Brazil Interlagos

Oscar Piastri will start from pole position during the Sprint at Interlagos, with his teammate, Lando Norris lining up alongside the Australian. Find out the how the rest of the grid lines up today.

Oscar Piastri did well on Friday afternoon to secure pole position for today's first event, improving on his second run in SQ3. Norris, who failed to improve, therefore had to settle for P2.

Behind the two McLarens, Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen will line up on the second row of the grid. Verstappen is starting two places behind his title challenger, therefore, the Dutchman hopes to move up as soon as possible. Carlos Sainz and George Russell complete the third row of the grid.

Among others, youngsters Liam Lawson and Oliver Bearman did well on Friday, with both finishing inside the Top 10. Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez on the other hand failed to make it through to SQ3, the Briton will start from P11, while the Mexican had to settle for P13.

At the back of the grid, three drivers have opted for starting from the pit lane, after changing their setups. Those drivers are Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll and Guanyu Zhou.
