Red Bull Racing has confirmed the public unveiling of its RB21 car. The Milton Keynes-based Formula 1 team will debut the car at a special event held in conjunction with Formula 1 at the O2 Arena in London.
Red Bull reveals RB21 launch date
Red Bull Racing will give the first preview of its new RB21 car on February 18, 2025, during a special event organised by Formula 1 at the O2 Arena in London. Both Max Verstappen and his new teammate, Liam Lawson, will be present for the unveiling. It is still unclear whether the team will hold an additional launch event on their own.
After the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Verstappen hinted that he secretly hoped for a change in the car's livery. Red Bull has used a matte blue design for several years, and the Dutch driver expressed a desire for a shinier finish on the RB21, similar to how the team's cars looked in their earlier seasons. However, such a change could add extra weight to the car.
Ferrari was the first team to announce its car launch, revealing that it will hold its unveiling on February 19, a day after the joint livery reveal in London. Following tradition, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will then be the first drivers to take the new cars out on track. This will happen at Ferrari's own Fiorano circuit.
