LIVE | 2020 Formula 1 Winter Testing Day 3: Will we get more Mercedes innovation?
With just one red flag in 16 hours of Formula 1 testing around Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, we've had plenty of on-track action, innovation and speed. Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes demonstrated a brand new DAS system which involves the driver pulling and pushing the steering wheel during yesterday's session. Will we see Ferrari up to speed? (liveblog below)
In 2020, Ferrari haven't raised any eyebrows. The Italian outfit have been coasting around, near the bottom of the timesheets but maybe they'll show a little bit of true pace to give us an indication of where they're at? Sebastian Vettel will be inside the cockpit for the full eight hours after missing his scheduled slot on Wednesday due to illness.
High milage
Only Kimi Raikkonen has pulled out the red flags in testing so far. He stopped out on track in the final 30 minutes of testing yesterday. But the lack of stoppages has meant an increase in the lap count. With teams and drivers getting two days less on-track before the Australian Grand Prix, everyone is keen to do the same amount of work in fewer days.
