Fernando Alonso has been given an invitation to race in the Daytona 500 following his Formula 1 leaving notice. Alonso replied to the tweet with a nodding GIF suggesting something is going on between the two parties.
The Daytona 500 is part of the Nascar cup series and usually takes place in February. This will give the Spaniard plenty of time in an IndyCar before the start of the season.
Would you like to see this happen? Alonso in a Nascar will be great to see and we're sure he will do a good job! What we do know is, Alonso is going off to enjoy himself!
