Fernando Alonso has just three F1 races left. But that doesn't stop him from moaning about the FIA. His latest dig at the FIA includes a comparison with the
WEC, a series he is competing in alongside F1 this season.
"The FIA is always right," Alonso starts off sarcastically when talking in the press square.
"Only equality is sometimes less good to find than other times. Every driver on the grid sees this but can not do anything about it. We racers can only pick up our shoulders and get used to the situation as it is."
"As far as I am concerned, the good intentions of the stewards come to an end when it comes to assessing incidents. Take the WEC as an example, where all incidents are judged rigorously according to the rules. One centimetre across the line? Too bad, time away. Hard, but fair."
In qualifying yesterday, Alonso overshot turn 11 with all four wheels going off the track. His time was taken off despite the fact that the Spaniard lost control of his car.
