Formula 1 strengthened. Both parties announced this in a short statement.

F1. That was a sore spot for the FOM. The investigation into
Toto Wolff (Mercedes) and his wife Susie (
F1 Academy) also did not do the relationship any good.
FOM and FIA want to promote Formula 1
Apparently, work has been going on behind the scenes lately to eliminate all dissatisfaction and put the interests of Formula 1 first again. In a joint statement, FOM and the
FIA said: "
The FIA Formula 1 World Championship has never been so strong and is growing globally and the FIA and Formula 1 are committed to delivering the best outcomes for the whole sport. To that end, both parties are developing a new strategic plan that will allow us to seize the opportunities and further enhance the potential for F1 in the years ahead."It is not clear from the statement whether or not this includes the addition of Andretti Cadillac. It is no secret that the FIA would like to see the Americans come, while Formula 1 has a completely different view.
