This morning, Williams announced that Robert Kubica will become the second driver to sign for the 2019 season. He partners up with F1 debutant George Russell and the Brit says he is "buzzing" to drive alongside Kubica.
Russell, 20, is currently top of the F2 standings with a championship round left. He is believed to have signed a multi-year deal at the team as Williams look to move back up the table after a rocky 2018 season.
To drive alongside Kubica is a great feat for the young Brit and will likely help him develop. Russell will get his first opportunity to share a garage with Kubica next week during the Abu Dhabi tests. Here's what he tweeted following the Kubica announcement.
