Lewis Hamilton has listed the Miami Grand Prix circuit as being "at the bottom" of his favourite track list ahead of Formula 1's visit next month.
F1 added Miami as what was the second race in the United States, before a third soon followed in Las Vegas.
And while it is no secret that Hamilton has an affinity with the US, he was less than enthusiastic when discussing the venue located around the Hard Rock Stadium with media including GPBlog.
"It probably ranks at the bottom of my favorite circuits," he said. When asked about his overall view of the event, the seven-time champion replied: "The same."
Other than his sprint victory in China, Hamilton's transition to Ferrari has yet to yield positive results, though this weekend's race at the Bahrain International Circuit could be seen as a chance to put that right, given he has already driven the SF-25 at the venue in pre-season testing.
But playing down any effect that could have, Hamilton explained: "Honestly, I don't think it makes much difference. I've driven on all circuits over the years. But as I said, we've tested the car here, we've run with the setup, so we come here with more knowledge."
"We had three test days here. Some were good, some were bad, but the second day was particularly positive. So we have a solid foundation for the setup to work with this weekend, which is an advantage.
"The team has worked hard – as teams do – to bring upgrades here. It's the circuit where we tested, so we have more knowledge about the car and how to get more out of it. I am very positive about the weekend."
