Isack Hadjar has commented briefly on the driver change between
Red Bull Racing and sister team
Racing Bulls. The Frenchman, who is in his rookie season in
Formula 1, will see
Yuki Tsunoda leave after only two races and, like
Max Verstappen, will get a new teammate.
Hadjar reacts to early driver change Red Bull
"Was short, but was a pleasure, Yuki!" writes Hadjar in his
Instagram stories in reaction to Tsunoda's departure from
Racing Bulls to take over from
Liam Lawson ahead of theJapanese Grand Prix at
Red Bull Racing, as the Kiwi driver moves back to the sister team where he will join the French Algerian.
It was a decision viewed as controversial by many figures, with
F1 Grand Prix winner Ralf Schumacher criticising Red Bull's leadership and warning Tsunoda that
he would never have taken the seat, as fellow former
F1 driver,
Giedo van der Garde also pointed the finger to the Austrian team's top brass
accusing them of bullying.
Max Verstappen's father,
Jos Verstappen, has also been vocal in expressing his support of Lawson wishing him the best at Racing Bulls and claiming that the Kiwi talent
'deserves to be in F1.'This article was written in collaboration with Nicole Mulder.
