Lando Norris claimed his fourth second-place finish of the season in the
Japanese Grand Prix, with
Max Verstappen and
Oscar Piastri joining him on the podium. Speaking with
Damon Hill after the race, the Brit shared his happiness for the strong team result achieved by
McLaren.
"Another amazing day for us, couldn't have asked for more," the Brit explained with a smile, before adding: "My start was very good, I almost had Max. I tried but the pace was extremely strong today. We're not close to Max, but we're not miles away either!"
He then went on to add: "We're pushing, the progress we made is outstanding. I'm proud of the team making steps forward. I'm sure tough times will come but we're getting there."
