Charles Leclerc hopes that the strong performances we've seen from Sauber this season will continue at the weekend.
Sauber driver Charles Leclerc is looking to start inside the top ten for a thid consecutive weekend, this weekend.
Leclerc has managed to finish inside the top ten in five out of the eleven races this season and perhaps could have finished in the points last weekend, if it wasn't for a bad tyre call in the tricky conditions in Germany.
The 20-year-old Ferrari Driver Academy driver has fond memories of the Hungaroring from his junior days.
"I look forward to the Grand Prix weekend in Hungary," Leclerc told The Checkered Flag.
"Budapest is a great city and I always enjoy spending time there.
"As for the racing, I look forward to being back at the Hungaroring. It's a very technical track and quite different to the circuits we have been so far this season. I have some good memories from my races in F2 there last year, so I look forward to seeing what is possible this time around.
"We have given a consistently strong performance in the last few weeks, and will build on that to finish the first-half of the season on a positive note."
Leclerc will miss FP1 on Friday and reserve driver Antonio Giovinazzi will take Leclerc's place in the practice session.
The Monegasque driver will also be driving for Sauber in the post-race test at the Hungaroring alongside his team mate Marcus Ericsson.
