Former McLaren driver Kevin Magnussen thinks that his current team, Haas, are a much more stable team than McLaren, as the American team doesn't have the same turnover in personnel.
After the departure of both technical director Tim Goss and team principal Eric Boullier earlier this year, the Woking-based team have now announced that they have signed Toro Rosso technical director James Key to come on board next season.
Magnussen, who made his F1 debut in a McLaren-car, compared his former team to Haas F1, where he is currently flourishing.
"I think Haas are a much more stable team," he told Motorsport.com.
"They [Haas] are simpler, but also very stable, it's not a place where people come and go."
That sense of security everybody within the team has about their jobs is what makes them tick so well.
"In other teams, I've seen a lot of people insecure about their positions and worried, which creates a bad atmosphere in the team, while here there is a lot of stability.
"Engineers, managers and most people here feel good and safe - obviously we are under pressure, that's no secret, but it's a much healthier kind of pressure."
We think there might be one man who shouldn't be so sure about his post at Haas F1, and that man is Romain Grosjean. The Frenchman has had some great outings but is still wildly inconsistent, and rumours of him being replaced at the American team are getting louder by the day.
