Haas boss Guenther Steiner is confident that a second Grand Prix in the United States will happen in the future, as his team prepare for their home race in Austin next weekend.
The Circuit of the Americas was first visited back in 2012, and Formula One have been pushing in order to secure a second race in America.
Miami was talked about for 2019, but that has now been postponed until 2020 at the "very earliest".
The Haas boss believes that Formula One having a big presence in the United States is "very important" and went onto say about his confidence that a second race will be added in the future.
"I think it's very important for Formula One to have a race in the United States," Steiner told Crash.net. "For a long time, until COTA came on the scene, there wasn't one.
"I think the fan base is growing. It's important for Formula One, but also for us because it's our home grand prix. We're all looking forward to it. It would be fantastic to have a second F1 race in America. I think we will get there. It takes a little bit of time, but it will happen."
Steiner was questioned on whether he thought adding a second race in the USA would have a negative impact on the current Grand Prix in Austin.
"I think it would accentuate it," Steiner added. "There are enough fans, we could get attention for two races. I think it would add to the presence of Formula 1 in the United States and not take anything away from COTA."
