Lance Stroll finished the Austrian Grand Prix in last place after being one of two drivers to be lapped twice. The other driver to record this feat was his team-mate, Sergey Sirotkin as the woes at Williams continue to grow.

Williams now have 12 points between them and 9th place in the constructors' championship. That's three times as many points they've scored in 2018.

"Unfortunately we have no performance, and our straight-line speed is down on our rivals. I think we're losing out on 25 to 30 horsepower, so there was nothing I could [do]. It's the same story at all the races...we are too slow," a downbeat Stroll told La Presse.

The 19-year-old has scored just four points this season as he continues to struggle. Those four points all came at once from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix five rounds ago.

Stroll went on to admit how he was just trying to hang on to complete the full race distance after an impressive start by his own standards.

"I had a decent start, gained some positions, but from there it was just survival and we were really slow to the end as we struggled with our pace.

"We were struggling with tyres, temperatures, everything and really couldn't do anything with our strategy."

If a Williams car goes on to score points at Silverstone, they might just get the biggest cheer of the day from their home fans!
