Lance Stroll has been explaining how the Aston Martin project is coming along and has revealed why he would not be tempted by a move if a bigger team came along.
Believe
The past two seasons were not always easy for Stroll junior. Now and then there were mistakes, which often got in the way of good results. Thanks to the rule changes, Stroll and Aston Martin hope to go up the grid in 2022. During the presentation of the new car there was plenty of confidence in a great season.
Stroll is convinced that Aston Martin is a top team in the making. So when asked what he would do in the event of a call from, say, Red Bull or
Ferrari, the answer was predictable:
"No, I believe in this project," said Stroll.
"The new factory is coming. A lot of people are coming on board, so I love it here."
First team
Last week, Aston Martin were the first team to actually put the 2022 car on the track as they got some miles under their belt at Silverstone. An early shakedown had been chosen, as this would allow teething problems to be ironed out before the first tests.
