Just like in 2022,
Max Verstappen will attend the Honda Thanks Day again this year. The event will be organised at the Mobility Resort Motegi, which is also home to the Twin Ring Motegi, the Japanese racing circuit that hosts the annual
MotoGP. Several
Formula 1 drivers will attend the event, which can be followed on Saturday night from midnight via the live stream.
Many big names at Honda Thanks Day 2023
Apart from Verstappen, many other car and motorsport drivers will be in attendance, competing on behalf of Honda in various racing classes. They include
Red Bull Racing driver
Sergio Perez and AlphaTauri drivers
Daniel Ricciardo and
Yuki Tsunoda.
Eight-time world champion Marc Marquez is also present at the event. For the
MotoGP rider, it will be the last time: he will retire from the Repsol Honda team after this year to embark on a new adventure with Gresini Ducati in 2024.
Several activities are scheduled, including many demonstrations and a karting race in which Verstappen will also take part. Last year, Verstappen and Marquez formed a true championship team: together they won the karting race convincingly, ahead of the teams of Perez and Tsunoda.
