Development of 2020 cars is frozen, but F1 2021 looks different anyway

Because of the coronavirus, the 2020 Formula 1 cars will largely remain the same in 2021. However, they won't look exactly the same, because there are some loopholes in the law, according to the video from Chain Bear.

What will the cars look like later

In addition to a budget cap for 2021 and the postponed new regulations to 2022, Formula 1 for 2021 has done even more to reduce the costs of the teams in these difficult times. Indeed, by freezing several parts, the teams will not have to incur any costs for their development.
Still, the factories won't come to a standstill after this season, because there are plenty of parts the teams can still work on and McLaren will still have to make adjustments to integrate the new Mercedes engine into the car which is actually made for the Renault-engine.
