The Formula 1 paddock is not, for now, out of the loop over the incident that occurred with the tractor, which was on the track as the drivers raced past it with very little visibility. The situation now appears to be even more dangerous than it initially appeared, as it can be seen from Carlos Sainz's car that a marshal was also on the track.

Marshal on the track at Suzuka

While Sainz's car is being towed away, a marshal is on the track. The footage shows him quickly dragging the Ferrari a bit before a car races past him just a few metres away. One thing is clear: the FIA, and especially the race organisers, have a lot of explaining to do after the Japanese Grand Prix.

Gasly will also have to explain why he was so fast there under red flag

The red flag lit up 50 metres before the tractor. You can't expect even a passenger car to slow that quickly
